Navea, a 50 ft sailing yacht, was entrusted to our team for a complete underwater protection and maintenance package. As part of the project, we rebuilt the antifouling system from bare gelcoat using Jotun Megayacht Black, repaired the keel, protected the propeller with Propspeed, renewed the sacrificial anodes, galvanized the anchor chain, and restored the hull and stainless steel with a full polish.

All works were completed efficiently and to the highest professional standards.

Scope of Work:

• Haul-out and relaunch of the yacht at the DMC slipway
• Hull sanding back to the gelcoat
• Application of two coats of primer and one coat of sealer for maximum coating adhesion
• Antifouling paint application — two coats of Jotun Megayacht Black
• Additional third antifouling coat at the waterline
• Propspeed foul-release coating applied to the propeller
• Replacement of sacrificial anodes
• Hull and stainless steel polishing
• Anchor chain galvanizing
• Keel repair
• Final inspection and operational testing

Following completion of the project, Navea was returned to the water with a fully protected hull, a repaired keel, a Propspeed-coated propeller, new anodes, and a freshly galvanized anchor chain. With her exterior restored to a clean, polished finish, the yacht is well prepared for another season of safe, efficient, and dependable sailing.
