Project Description
Type: Racing Sailing Catamaran Length: 19 ft
Chaos Express is a high-performance racing catamaran that required extensive restoration and relocation. The vessel was transported by land from Fujairah to Dubai, where our team carried out a comprehensive refurbishment program to restore its performance and prepare it for competitive racing.
All works, including transportation, repairs, reassembly, and launch, were completed within 1 week.
The project transformed a vessel that was in poor condition into a competitive racing catamaran ready for the water. Following the restoration and commissioning works, Chaos Express returned to racing and is now achieving excellent results on the race circuit.
Tasks Completed
- Haul-out and complete disassembly of the catamaran
- Land transportation from Fujairah to Dubai
- Bottom sanding and surface preparation
- Full fiberglass repair and reinforcement of the hull bottom
- Application of a complete antifouling system
- Full hull polishing and cosmetic restoration
- Reassembly of all vessel components
- Mast stepping and rigging setup
- Launch support at the Dubai Marine Club (DMC) slipway
- Final inspections and performance checks
