Equilibria, a Beneteau First 30 sailing yacht, was entrusted to our team for a complete underwater protection package. As part of the project, we rebuilt the antifouling system from bare gelcoat using Jotun Megayacht Black applied with an airless spray system, protected the propeller with Propspeed, renewed the sacrificial anodes, and refreshed the topsides with a light polish.

All works were completed efficiently and to the highest professional standards.

Scope of Work:

• Haul-out and relaunch of the yacht at the DMC slipway
• Hull sanding down to the gelcoat
• Application of two coats of primer and two coats of sealer for maximum coating adhesion
• Antifouling paint application using an airless spray system — two coats of Jotun Megayacht Black
• Additional third antifouling coat at the waterline
• Light polishing of the hull
• Replacement of sacrificial anodes
• Propspeed foul-release coating applied to the propeller
• Final inspection and operational testing

Following completion of the project, Equilibria was returned to the water with a fully protected hull, a Propspeed-coated propeller, and new anodes. The yacht is well prepared for another season of safe, efficient, and dependable sailing.
