Dacmos, a Dufour 382 sailing yacht, was entrusted to our team for a complete underwater protection package and hull refresh. We transported the yacht from Palm East to our facility at Dubai Maritime City, rebuilt the antifouling system from bare gelcoat using Jotun Megayacht, replaced every through-hull fitting and valve, and restored the hull finish and teakwork.

All works were completed efficiently and to the highest professional standards.

Scope of Work:

• Transportation of the yacht from Palm East to Dubai Maritime City and back

• Haul-out and relaunch at the DMC slipway

• Hull sanding back to the gelcoat

• Application of two coats of primer and two coats of sealer for maximum coating adhesion

• Two coats of Jotun Megayacht Black antifouling applied using an airless spray system

• Additional third antifouling coat at the waterline for extra protection

• Replacement of all through-hull fittings, valves and nozzles

• Teak correction and refresh

• Wet sanding and polishing of the hull and superstructure

Following completion of the project, Dacmos was returned to Palm East with a fully renewed antifouling system, new through-hull fittings and valves, and a refreshed exterior finish. The yacht is now fully protected and ready for reliable, trouble-free sailing throughout the coming season.
